On November 16, 1998 my only son suicided and forever changed the lives of those that love him. Surviving that first year or so felt impossible. I cried a river of tears as I took that walk through hell ... but I survived it. Now I want to help you survive. And then I want to help you reclaim your life. I know that sounds impossible, but I promise it's do-able.
There is a lot of information on this site so please come back often. We are constantly adding to it. We also have links to great resources to help you, and update those often. Anything you cannot find here, you will probably find on our sister-site, Road2healing.

Linda Flatt, who lost her twenty-five-year-old son, Paul, to suicide said, "The only person (except God) with the answers to my questions is unavailable to hear them, and it occurs to me that he might not know the answers himself." She said there comes a time to stop asking the questions. She realized that she didn't really want answers as much as she wanted a chance to challenge the answers and change the outcome.
Isn't that what we all really want? A chance to have a choice in such a life-altering event that we had no say in? A place to go back to and challenge the ending. But we will never have that chance, so the next step is to ask, "Where do I go from here?' That's what we want to help you discover.
